'My Daily Magic' Porsche film contest winner announced [videos]

Porsche Cars North America has announced director Michael Koerbel the winner of the "My Daily Magic" contest for his film "It's a Magical Life". Narrowed down from hundreds of entries to just 10 semi-finalists, public voting for the final three commenced in September.

The objective of the contest was for each participant to create a 60-second film that featured their personal perspective and interpretation of "everyday magic" - a premise that is part of a larger "Engineered for Magic. Every day" Porsche campaign to challenge perceptions that sports cars should be reserved for Sunday drives or special occasion trips. Instead, Porsche seeks to highlight the thrill of high performance and everyday practicality are not unique in and of themselves but can be mutual.

Koerbel's prize is a one year lease of a Porsche vehicle (maximum value $18,000) or $18,000 cash plus a 2 day/1 night VIP invitation to the Red Carpet Premiere screening, including round-trip air transportation and lodging.

The winning film can be seen above followed by the other two finalist below.

Porsche is not a family car....why they insist on mama papa son/dauther mix??? first video is the best...but who will drive porsche over a 15years?????? and it looks like a first day from dealership???? I dont have money to buy Panamera and I will never had, and second commercial insults me, because 98% family does not have money to buy it and live like family on video...the third is the beeeest..drivig porsche like rolercoster in city limit speed...woooow

How'd that dude get so many primo parking spaces? Also, I was half-expecting a body to be loaded in the back at any moment.

I don't know if the winner borrowed his "trunk opening concept" or if its original, but its very well done and deserving of the win.

Is it a kind of law that every american Porsche commercial has to show happy families with loads of cute children getting kissed by their fathers or going fishing? I really can't stand this soap-opera-pathos. So, not really good ideas in these movies here.

Would you prefer to see grumpy people, family feuds, muggings, rapes & general violence?
