2013 Audi A3 spied showing new details
Just a few weeks ago we showed you some undisguised interior spy shots of the next generation 2013 Audi A3. Now spies have spotted it again but this time with a little bit less camouflage revealing a few new details.
For the first time we can see the front bumper with the fully exposed fog lights, air intakes and big grill as well as the headlamp shape.
The rear is also less disguised showing the backup lamps, liftgate panel which has upper and lower sections and the tailamp shape as it cuts into the quarter panel. The back glass is also free of camouflage.
Lots of details on the upcoming next-generation Audi A3 can be found in a previous story here.

Only Audi can achieve such a difficult task as to make all its hatchbacks look identical, all its sedans look identical, all its SUVs identical, heck, even its sports cars look identical. Hail Audi, let's flock like sheep and all buy the same looking car.

If something works fine, don't change it. Though the styling looks predictable, this car will sell like hotcakes

Will this be the Audi that starts the new styling language that they were talking about? My kidney says no. The other 1 says never!

I love Audi... but come on, the styling is getting ridiculous.
You have to come up with fresher designs if you ever want to compete with the likes of BMW.

So it's got the front of an A4 and the back of an A1 with slimmer tail-lights. Well done Audi. I'm off to have a look at BMW thanks.....

There is nothing more boring than Audi spy shots. Why do they need camouflage at all? It just looks like a big A1 or a small A4. @Audi hire new desingers!!

they think there is no need to change the design because people like this actual design, they don't risk it. You want A3 but it's expensive? go buy A1. A1 is small, go buy A3 not so complex but I hope the design line is gonna change in a few years

I love Audi and nothing's gonna change it but this starts to be dull. They're getting so predictible with every new car launched. I think Audi needs something fresh, otherwise their model range may start to look dated. And what I am really affraid of is that this car looks like a major restyled current gen rather than completely new model, but not sure.

The plastic/rubber side strip is gone... is this a styling necessity or cost cuffing measure?

So let me get this straight. A bunch of people here are making negative criticisms about the new A3's design, even though the car is almost entirely disguised. Perhaps you should all hold off on your irrational hatred for Audi until the car is officially revealed. Lol.
