Mazda6 coupe under development - report
Could be launched in 2014
According to a recent report, the next-generation Mazda6 will be offered in four body styles.
Besides the sedan, which was previewed by the Takeri concept, the lineup is rumored to include a hatchback, a wagon and a coupe. The first three variants are expected in 2013, while the coupe will likely debut a year later.
Engine options are slated to include a 2.0-liter petrol and a 2.2-liter diesel. We can also expect Mazda's i-Eloop regenerative braking system which promises to increase fuel efficiency by up to 10%.

I like this design a LOT. Good job Mazda. Bring out a worthwhile car and I might be giving you my vote of confidence over photocopy car shops like Audi that have no imagination across their model range.

very nice design! and a coup???? cool! mazda used to have 4 coup?s in the 90s (the famous mx range with mx3, mx5, mx6 and rx7)... there is only the mx5 left... so its time to bring a new and well designed coup?! toyota and subaru does too!!!

You should probably check the post on a lot of these articles. The articles with the most posts tend to have the most knowledgeable individuals posting comments. You can usually tell by what they post if they know what they are talking about, then you can just send that person a message. Hope that helps.

I think that is a great idea for Mazda. With doing that they would compete with the Honda Crosstour, Honda Accord sedan and coupe. If they make a Mazda6 coupe I hope they just call it the MX-6 followed by a Mazdaspeed version.
