Mercedes ML63 AMG teased
Could debut in Los Angeles
Mercedes-Benz has released the first teaser image of the 2012 ML63 AMG, ahead of a possible unveiling at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
While there isn't much to see, the picture reveals the SUV will have an aggressive front fascia with a three bar grille and LED daytime running lights. We can also expect a sport-tuned suspension, beefier brakes, AMG wheels and a four-tailpipe exhaust system.
As we have previously reported, the Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG will likely feature a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 with 525 PS (386 kW / 518 hp) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. An optional performance package could boost those numbers to 557 PS (410 kW / 550 hp) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque.

Lets face it, the AMG ML was what started this whole segment. The old ML55 wasnt a great car, but it was a bold step. That being said, if I want an SUV, get me a Diesel motor that saves trees, thanx.
