Trailer for new Grand Theft Auto [video]

New game features a Los Angeles-like setting and is about a man trying to go straight but can't help getting pulled back into a life of crime

Here is the trailer for the upcoming new Grand Theft Auto V video game.

The fifth installment of the popular game features a Los Angeles-like setting called Los Santos with a 'Vinewood' sign up on a hill serving as its version of Hollywood. The storyline is about a man trying to go straight after a life of crime only to be pulled back into the sordid business.

Tough economic times also serve as a backdrop to the game's story - how realistic.

Grand Theft Auto V is expected to be released next year.

I alwats like san andreas the most of all the GTA s. The gangster and getto thing, it was very interesting. I didn't care that the game didn't looked really good.

Considering San Andreas was the best selling game on PS2 (over 17 million copies) there are a lotta people waiting for this. Its rumoured the convertible cars will have functional roofs :p

Actually I would like to see them go back further on the timeline - 1950s or 60s.

And to think that I was betting on Vegas, I really thought they would have gone there for the next version of the game, especially considering the prominence of the "V" in all of the posters (though here, it is for Vinewood, the setting for the new game). Vegas would have been perfect for GTA in my opinion, they could have used a Casino/Goodfellas twist on the story. Edit: I guess to correct myself, they do have Los Venuras I believe as a mock Vegas, so that is still a win (and hopefully it isn't as irritating as San Andreas was, damn I hated that game).

YES! Finally a new San Andreas game. Not only that, the graphics are stunning and a huge improvement over IV's lighting model. Can't wait!
