Need for Speed contest prize: A 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S

Sweepstakes open at Need for Speed website - no requirement to purchase new The Run video game

Need for Speed video-game series maker Electronic Arts is offering a little incentive to signing up at their site.

The website for the upcoming game Need for Speed: The Run is holding a sweepstakes to win a brand-new 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S.

Particpants don't even have to buy or pre-order the new game. They simply have to register at this site here. There are some rules, though, regarding eligibility such as place of residence and being the holder of a valid driver's license.

Need for Speed: The Run goes on sale November 15 in North America and hits the shelves in Europe on November 18.

I just checked it out and am I MAD!!! Two states are excluded from entering, one being my state, Florida! Why in the heck would you exclude a state where it never snows?!?! A 911 can be driven down here on sport tires 365 days a year! Why not exclude Alaska?!?! I've never won anything as substantial as a car but I'd at least like the opportunity to try : (

As much as I agree with you it could be that the new Porsche doesn't meet By-laws set in Florida.

And I am p***d off... If you live in US, UK or Canada, you sign in and hope you will get a car. If you live a 2k km from UK, still in EU, max you can get IF YOU WILL BE HE FASTEST IN DEMO is... a drive in Carrera. Yes, just a chance to drive. Sorry EA, wanted to, but after this - no way i am going to buy this game.
