Priced from ?69,950

In an effort to promote their racing pedigree, Lotus has introduced the Evora S GP Edition.

Drawing inspiration from the Lotus-Renault Formula One race car, the Evora has a black exterior with red mirrors, gold wheels and distinctive striping. Additionally, the car is equipped with the premium package, the technology package and a rearview camera.

Like the standard model, power is provided by a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine with 350 PS (258 kW / 346 hp) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. This should enable it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds) and hit a top speed of 172 mph (277 km/h).

Production will be limited to three units and pricing starts at £69,950 ($109,155 / €79,850).

I never thought I'd say this about the Evora, but this looks great. John Player Specials accents look wicked on cars. I still remember pining for a 323i JPS in the 90's.
