Nissan Juke-R: The engineering prospective [video]
Based on the GT-R
Nissan has released a new promotional video for the Juke-R.
Meant to highlight the concept's advanced construction, the clip notes the engineering challenges that went into creating a compact crossover with the engine, electronics and all-wheel drive system from a GT-R.
Currently being constructed, the prototype will be perfectly road-legal and feature a unique appearance with new bumpers, revised side skirts and a massive rear wing. Additionally, the cabin will have GT-R instrumentation, a roll cage and two racing seats with five-point harnesses.
Performance specifications haven't been released, but the Juke-R has a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine which is rumored to develop 530 PS (390 kW / 520 hp).

hmm its still has a funny name, but depending how this turns out perhaps that 530bhp and V6 3.8L TwinTurbo will negate that :P

Nissan , i would strongly suggest using Maynard Ferguson's version of GonnaFlyNow as background melody upon release of this pocket-rocket's video .

Nissan should increase the production of this engine so Infiniti can use them for their high performance cars. imagine a G coupe-R or FX-R

Instead of doing all of that reverse-engineering type work, wouldn't it be easier to simply create a one-off ugly Juke body, and attach it to a completed GT-R chassis? That's basically what the concept pictures look like...
