Includes a custom trailer

If you've always wanted to combine your passion for Corvettes and speed boats, here's to hoping you have $1.7 (€1.26) million to spare.

Built by Marine Technology Incorporated, this ZR1-inspired boat is constructed from carbon fiber and features lighting units from the legendary sports car. Elsewhere, there are gull wing doors, an electric sliding rear window and two turbocharged Mercury Racing engines that develop 1350 hp (1007 kW / 1369 PS).

Inside, the cabin has a full Corvette interior with an original steering wheel, instrument cluster and gear knob. Other highlights include leather seats, LED accent lighting and an 8000 watt audio system.

Since the boat is too big for most roads, it includes a custom trailer to haul it around. However, it looks like you'll have to find your own big rig to tow it.

$1.7 million...?? Think I would go for the pod-drive Grand Banks 41 Eu for about half as much: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZW0szqdvhk

I'm really confused as to why they didn't use @ ZR1 engines, that would be 1280hp, only 80 shy of the mercury. At that point however, I don't feel that 80hp makes any difference. But if it does slight tuning will get you there.

The Mercury Marine engines make 1350hp each. Also, they are built for marine applications. Trying to modify a street motor for that purpose sounds like a reliability disaster waiting to happen.

All thats missing is a huge Bat emblem on it. This gets my vote as Bruce Wayne's method of transportation when fighting crime in the water. Able to outspeed and nuetralize yachts, regular speedboats, jet skis, submarines, and tankers. I hope action film makers are watching. I would like to see more of the passenger quarters. How many can it seat/sleep at that size which is roughly about the size of a Greyhound Bus?

HAHA my thoughts exactly as soon as i saw it. wouldnt work for him tho cuz he would have a beastly interior command center...... if it had an infinity, merc, or acura interior it would be the official bat boat

I wonder if u actually use it like a car, press the clutch (dont know if speed boats have trannys although it would be better to go faster with a tranny), switch gears, gas...... wonder what the breaks do..... lol would be cool if a spoiler popped downward underneath the boat to help slow it down, kind of like what the vyron does with the air spoiler. and why didnt they use 2 zr1 engines in it? guess it would be too hard to incorporate it to be saltwater cooled

"the cabin has a full Corvette interior with an original steering wheel" is this a good thing? because it makes the high price tag of the boat even stupidier...
