Change the formula and the price would go up enough to have an impact on it's sales numbers. The USA is a very price sensitive market. If they were to take the Corvette upmarket, it would be with a Cadillac badge and price tag. In a similar manner to the way they sold the XLR in the past. I hope they don't change it one little bit. It's a wonderful car at an amazingly affordable price.

Dmanero +1 corvette looks and are cheaply finished. I wouldn't cost much more to use decent material on the inside.

very true, but I'm not talking about just the interior, I'm mean also the exterior.

I recently saw an Opel GT (Saturn Sky) next to a Corvette and the GT looked a lot nicer. If GM managed to bring out such a beautiful low budget 30k car they should put some real effort for the Corvette. The current design dates back to the 80s and I expect Corvette to be level with Lamborghini and Ferrari.

Yeah i loved the corvette vision concept, if they keep going in that direction they should do fine. If they make it with a well trimmed firring spec interior it would stand a chance outside the us this time too, and please do a rhd model too

Corvette is in desperate need of a much needed make over; it should have happened a year or two ago. And add me to the 'no to retro' campaign. Enough with the backwards thinking already.

It would be nice rather than always going retro to go to a new design that brings on the future of Corvette. Detroit is good at retro but lets take a chance.....maybe a Apple designed Corvette.

an Apple designed Corvette would be a white brick. Then after a year they would make a faster, thinner black one.

They should style it like the 09 Stingray concept!

I just hope they go with a new design, like the camero and the mustang, retro but updated. the current vette is boring and cheap. you want to be classified as a high performance sports car, then look the part, stop with the plastic panels and look in to using other strong materials.
