The Stig does the M5 [video]

In the latest issue of Top Gear Magazine turbocharging is the theme and between the pages the Stig tries out the 2012 BMW F10 M5.

Here's a video that show's how much the Stig enjoys thrashing the new M5 about. It seems the car was made for smoking and drifting. But there's also a point to all the fuming - Top Gear Magazine pits the M5 against arch-rival the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG for a head-to-head bout.

The 2012 BMW F10 M5 comes with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 with an output of 560 PS (412 kW / 552 hp) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. Gearbox is a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission that enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds.
