2012 Audi A6 Avant Allroad spied
Off-road variant of the Audi A6 Avant is expected to debut sometime in early 2012
Our spy photographers have caught up with the 2012 Audi A6 Avant Allroad while a prototype was out for some testing in Germany.
The Allroad version of the A6 Avant features an elevated suspension, permanent all-wheel-drive and wider wheel wells.
The 2012 Audi A6 Avant Allroad is expected to launch early next year.

I think WCF has readers in Europe also.
I still see the 1st gen A6 Allroad on the roads here in the GTA. They still look nice.
Wish Audi would reconsider selling them here again. But I'm sure it's not a big enough seller to justify it.

No, unfortunately I think you are right. Why bring these over when car companies can skate through SUVs which cost less to export into North America because of less stringent safety standards? Given that Mercedes and Volvo are now essentially the only large-sized wagon imports coming into North American, perhaps these two can exploit it...perhaps Volvo should try to bring back the V70 and see how it sells now.

Whenever I see an article about a "spied" Audi I laugh. The only thing that differentiates it from all other Audis is actually the camouflage.
