Lets hope Toyota takes notice

While Toyota is busy uglifying the original FT-86 concept, Andreas Fougner created these stunning renderings of the long-rumored 2014 Supra.

Designed to be recall the Mark IV, the car was styled to be sporty and classic while remaining "new and fresh." The end result is pretty impressive as the model is instantly appealing and looks virtually production ready.

The supra has always been futuristic when a new model comes out.

It does look a little Z and a little Lotus. I am sure it will have lots of horsepower as in the previous versions.

the only similarities with a Z or a Lotus are in the big "mouth" (350Z) and the lights (Evora), from every other angle it is more reminiscent of the FT86 II or the LFA

That's quite nice actually. a little 370Z in there sure, but not too much for my taste. I see a little of the Toyota FT-HS concept in there too, which is good for design consistency. yeah Toyota, you should build something like this, or you know, maybe... BUILD THE FT-86 ALREADY

it is a very good render...not a single remind of a 350Z...and it is wrong to put that car in a Z370 class it must be positioned much higher in a GT-R class!

The rendering has some near-fatal practicality issues and it is fairly boring. That said, it is still much more appealing to my eye than any contemporary Toyota design. Dull and impractical trumps dull and awkward.

Headlights are marvelous, I wish they are in Subaru BRZ. General shape is, as said, stunning. I hope they won't mess it up. It has great potential for me :)

A little bit of everything, rear side view - R8, rear view - LFA, roofline - 370z, front mouth - 350z... but they are all good traits. If the line stays, i dun mind getting one if the price and horsepower is right. =)

Too soft to be a Supra.

short front says twin turbo V6..rear side intakes are LF-A derived rear mounted radiators while the large front intake would house the intercoolers. 2+2..massive rear wheels to cope with the power....i love the styling

that could be Toyota Supra....but Toyota Supra twin turbo must look different!

Yeah this designer is getting alot of credit for taking other designs. The only thing Toyota about this design is that it steals the Honda design. Hardly remarkable and something you see all the time in Best Car.
