Chevy Camaro ZL1 launch control gets previewed [videos]
Has 580 hp (432 kW / 588 PS) and 556 lb-ft (754 Nm) of torque
Chevrolet has launched a new promotional campaign for the 2012 Camaro ZL1.
In the first clip, titled Reaction, engineers head out to the Milan Dragway to showcase the launch control function. By hitting the traction control button twice, the car's various systems enter a specially-programmed mode which configures everything for maximum acceleration.
On the other hand, the second clip touts the Magnetic Ride Control system which automatically adjusts the dampers 1,000 times per second.

Launch control would definitely help. I recently rented a SS and it was too easy toxic smoked burn outs because the tires are so skinny for the horsepower. It needs at least 305's on the rear. Of the rental wad really fun drifting with the skinny tires

Nice shots and all, but they never show the launch control or MRC in action...kind of a waste of time...
