Hot 2012 Porsche 911 variant spied with rear wing?
New Porsche 911 variant features a rear wing similar to the GT2 RS
What appears to be a hotter version of the new 2012 Porsche 911 has been spied testing in Germany.
We've already seen Porsche testing the new 911 Turbo and Turbo Cabrio (with rear spoiler only) but this model here appears to be a next-level variant short of a GT3.
The prototype in the photos here is sporting a modest fixed rear wing that seems a little small for a GT3, but this prototype is featuring new bumpers with a different design than on the recently introduced standard 911.
A new variant between a standard 911 and a 911 GT3 or something for the Tequipment catalog?

Could be the upcoming GT3 or dare I say.. a new GT2? Seriously, the rear shot of that 991 looks sinister and cool at the same time! ;-)

Yes, this is definitely the Aerokit. I think it looks crap to be honest, if you go on the German 911 Configurator in new 3D you can see it and it looks pretty weak. The Sport Design kit has just the ducktail spoiler and a more aggressive front and looks quite nice.
Best though is just s standard Carrera S, with PASM-20mm, this gets a bigger front lip and lower ride height, looks amazing.

I thought I was the only nerd wasting time on the config...lol The PASM sport looks phenomenal! Sits almost dangerously low.

i love the ducktail, the wing doesn`t look that great from behind but i guess it?s the angle, should look better when u look on it while standing next to it.

I'm calling it now: it's the Turbo. GT2/GT3 won't come before the turbo comes.
