Yeah....let me guess, by the time they have got this ready for showroom launch the price will sky rocket to about 60K sterling. This is what I find very annoying about Jaguar: old parts, recycled design (except for the C-X16), will never be a great handling car....no recent jags are. Then the price list will be an insult to ones intelligence. As you can gather I am not a Jag fan but I do think british magazines have to take a lot of credit for reviving the brand as they basically said it (the XF) was the best thing since sliced bread. So, no doubt every other Jag for the rest of time will be "excellent!" and "best in it's class!".....even if it really isn't.

Obviously you're a fan of a common German brand with no originality and no understanding of true luxury. Jaguar offer true luxury (not plastic seats and fake woods like the Germans) because they come from a nation that has aristorcracy wheras Germans are a middle class nation with middle class tastes. Jaguar IS the real deal.

Cant say I agree. Jaguar have been on top of their game lately. Yeah back about 10 years ago with the S Type and X Type, Jaguar were pretty much regurgitating their old designs and their interiors were completely naff and only appealing to old men. While some love that classic timeless style, it didnt stop jaguar from trying something new. The XF is amazing on every level, the XJ, XK are also top cars. Having owned an XF myself from a Mercedes C Class and I cannot fault Jaguar. It deserves all the credit it gets. The price for the vehicles are perfectly justified, and certainly do not depreciate as bad as the older sovereigns and XJ8 did back in the day. This new XE is just a mule, and im sure the final product of the car could look very similar to the CX 16 concept they showed, who knows. All i know is you cannot appreciate the new jaguar until you owned one. Theres good reasons why british motor mags give high credit to them.
