Alfa Romeo 4C live on the Frankfurt floor [video]

Alfa Romeo will still take the 4C to production but its U.S.-market release has been delayed

Here is another live video from the Frankfurt floor, this time of the latest iteration of the Alfa Romeo 4C Concept.

Alfa Romeo still plans on taking this car to production, although, its U.S.-market release has recently been delayed until 2013.

Expected to power the 4C, which stands for four-cylinders, is a 1.8 liter (1750 cc) Turbo Multi-Air unit with an output of 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp).

i cant belive this will be a mid engine with rwd and turbocharged!!!!.makes me think back to when toyota made the mr2 turbo in the early 90's. this is beautiful and i would love to own one. wow, im sure with some tuning you can get 300rwhp from this which should make it very quick if the weight is so low :-)

As an entry level 200 hp is good because this car is very light even lighter than the Giulietta it weighs only 999 kg

I don't think that this car will only have 200hp. All the press releases from Alfa say over 200hp. Which makes sense, since the Giulietta QV has the same engine and makes 230hp. I am thinking that the 4C will have at least this much power.

Good, now make a more powerfull version with 300 hp to rival Boxter S.
