Gorgeous looking car, the interior is awsome but I noticed that it looks a bit like an R8. BTW, what is that red botton on the steering wheel?

Very beautiful, indeed. Other than the revised front end, Jaguar did a good job of incorporating a lot of elements from it's stunning C-X 75 concept. I'm really liking what I see in this newly rejuvenized take on Jaguar. It's like their just beginning to realize they have more potential. Either that or their finally waking up from a very long coma.

That is one gorgeous beast :-) Jaguar now had retained its character after being freed from Ford stewardship

Not a line on it I don't like. But it's carrying forward design language decided upon before the acquisition by Tata. We've yet to see where the new ownership might take the styling when they start with a clean sheet of paper.

is a pretty cool car... but am I the only one who has noticed the sunglasses on the jaguar from the front logo? Why did they do that?

you're so right! I think it's kinda an inner joke , not very tastefull thought..

It's a 'Cool Cat' that's why. That shows real corporate confidence from Jaguar to reinvent the 'Growling Jag' logo for the 22nd Century. It's no longer boring; simply Cool Britannia.

withoust that electric engine and put in also a version with supercharged V8 and then you'll have a hot selling GT coupe :D

The Growling Jag is back! Make no mistake, this is a production GT item to rival anything from Italy to Germany. I wonder what Jaguar will call it; E-Type perhaps? No derivative design language in sight, but unmistakably Jaguar nonetheless. Ford must be gutted seeing Land Rover and Jaguar's progress right now ever since they waved 'Tata' to both of them! Best interior yet in a Jag and no more 'retro' or 'classic' cliches; 'hi-tech' and 'futuristic' are
now the norm. A Jag with a hybrid engine that can still stir the soul with raw-edged exhaust note? Welcome to the Rev-olution!

The long awaited successor of the legendary E-type is finally here - in concept form. Audi TTs, Nissan 370Zs and Porsche Caymans should be afraid.. very afraid.
