Tuned Volkswagen Touareg W12 does epic burnouts [videos]
Tire-shredding footage
Total Race has introduced an insane tuning package for the Volkswagen Touareg W12.
Our Russian is little rusty, but the model has a 6.0-liter engine with twin-turbochargers, a ProEFI EMS and a "Smart" all-wheel drive system which can send power exclusively to the rear wheels.
Sadly, there's no additional information but the standard engine produces 450 PS (331 kW / 444 hp) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque. This allows the SUV to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and hit an electronically limited 250 km/h (155 mph).

Some form of over-run enrichment built into the ECU maps to prevent a high RPM lean-burn situation that would potentially destroy the engine. Sounded like he requested 100% of avail tq for the launch and then reneged right around the transmissions shift point; closing the throttles and "wasting" the boost. In gas powered cars, black smoke from the tail pipe is always an indication of a rich A/F mixture. Thats also a good way to grenade a transmission...

It's a pity that tuning firms have absolutely zero taste when it comes to the restyling of vehicles. Offensively ugly...

Between all the juice, meaty tires and the "smart" AWD this seems INSANELY fast. I'd love to have one!

you probably will need bunch of mechanics to start this machine and monitor everything works well, kinda like F1 though
