Criminally sexy - BMW highlights ConnectedDrive technology [video]
Video meant to showcase BMW's ConnectedDrive technology features a beautiful brunette and a jewelry theft
This video makes us want to work for BMW marketing and spend our days making films like this.
Here we have a man stealing some jewelry for a beautiful brunette while driving around in the BMW Vision ConnectedDrive Concept and using its on-board communications system.
The video is meant to showcase BMW's ConnectedDrive technology but we just like the slick production...and, of course, the girl. There's always a girl.

Pay attention until the end. The guy turns out to be an insurance auditor testing the jeweler's security.

This is a nice "ad" but... Audi could do this now, with the A7. BMW really needs to start bring modern cars to the market. As someone who is in the market for a new car ($30K to $45K), I must say that here in the U.S. the cars from Munich are quite disappointing.
They're expensive for what you get and the interior quality/design is decidedly dated.
I think VW/Audi has really taken it to these people. The BMW has nice drive characteristics but given the way cars are used 98% of the time, its somewhat less important.

Only the A7 can do this? Bummer. As you see at the end, every BMW has had this technology for several years... I know my 2009 335d had everything shown in this video, and it worked very well.

I'm referring to the general internet connectivity vis a vis google, google maps/earth, wi-fi spot, etc.
And style too :) This BMW has style. So too does the A7. The 3... not so much. Just my opinion :)
