BMW i3 and i8 concepts spied live in Chicago on a photoshoot [videos]

BMW is prepping the i3 and i8 concept vehicles for a full-on introduction at the Frankfurt show next month

We thought that was Vancouver in a video released by BMW a couple of weeks back showing the i3 and i8 concepts in motion in a cityscape.

It seems BMW has at least one set of functional i3 and i8 prototypes running around North America for promotional filming.

This time, the i3 and i8 have been spied live in the flesh on a photoshoot in Chicago. The windy city, indeed, you can hear it on the video.

Check out the second vid below too.

Anything that decreases our dependency on foreign oil that ultimately prevents the bad guys from buying weapons that kill our soldiers is a good move.

Don't really like either of these cars, or any electric cars really. I must admit though, the graphics for the computer looks awesome.

Dubai would have been a perfect backdrop for these avant-garde automobiles rather than antiquated Chicago .

Way to be discreet, BMW. This is the street right between the Shedd Aquarium and the Adler Planetarium... p.s. You're going the wrong way...
