RevoZport tunes the BMW 1-Series M
RevoZport 1M Raze - 4.8.2011

Weighs 60 kg (132 lbs) less than stock

RevoZport has unveiled the 1M Raze, which is based on the BMW 1-Series M.

Painstakingly designed to be aerodynamic and lightweight, the model has an extensive carbon fiber body kit which includes:

  • Grille ($250)
  • Ventilated hood ($1,290)
  • Front splitter ($900)
  • Side skirts (TBA)
  • Lightweight trunk ($600 - $1,190)
  • Trunk-mounted spoiler ($499)
  • Roof-mounted spoiler ($780)
  • Rear wing (TBA)
  • Lightweight roof ($1,500)
  • Mirror casings ($290)
  • Rear diffuser ($780)

Thanks to all these tweaks, the car weighs 60 kg (132 lbs) less than stock.

In the performance department, the tuner installs an intercooler, a blow-off valve charge pipe, high-flow air filters, a revised ECU and a titanium exhaust system. Nothing is official, but the P450 name suggests the package enables the engine to produce 450 hp (336 kW / 456 PS).

Nice one Revzport, they add some nice modifications and completely ruin the car with that joke of a spoiler.

I have always wanted to see what an 1M would look like if a teen got to pimp it...

Great job RevoZport! I like all the things they've done to it, but the rear wing could have been a bit bigger and not so straight... The first thing i would get for my 1 series M (if i had one) would be that rear diffuser.

Lose the spoiler and then its gets a thumbs up from me, the spoiler doesn't follow the line of the car and doesn't fit the car at all.

Tuners need to realise that duck-tail spoilers (see, e.g., 911 SC) are the way to go.
