Could debut later this year

Audi recently unveiled the A5 facelift and now it's time for the A4 to go under the knife.

Sporting heavy camouflage, the prototypes feature a new grille, modified bumpers and restyled lighting units. The overall styling tweaks are minor, but give the model a closer resemblance to the A5 and A6.

Engine options will likely carryover, but the 3.2-liter FSI will likely be replaced by the new supercharged 3.0-liter TFSI V6 with 272 PS (200 kW / 268 hp).

The 2012 Audi A4 could debut later this year, so stay tuned for additional information.

All of Audi's cars look the same. If I stood in front of an A3, A4, A5 and A6, and looked at them from a directly front on viewpoint, I would not be able to tell them apart. They need to differentiate their products a bit not just make them bigger and smaller versions of the same design. I'm not saying that Audi's cars don't look good, they look great, but its just all the same. Mix it up, throw some creative flair in there, it can't be that hard can it?

I used to like Audi, but now I find them boring and bland. They all look the same!!! You wanna know how the facelift A4 look? Just look at A5, A6, or A8.

well your obvisouly not very good at spotting different cars, i think i can tell the differnence between say an A1 and A3 for example

Ditto. When you see one, you know it is an Audi. You just don't know which one. And for people who get the base models without the LED headlights, then at first sight you confuse them with a VW Jetta.

Not sure why people complain about Audi designs since Audi is selling more cars than ever; the people who buy them don't seem to care. Based on sales it would be hard to convince them to change their winning formula.
