Toyota Prius Coupe coming in 2014 - report
Based on the Lexus GS?
Toyota has already announced plans to expand the Prius lineup with the Prius c and Prius v, but a new report is indicating the company will also build a Prius Coupe in 2014.
Auto Express says the model will be based on the next-generation Lexus GS. This seems like an odd choice considering the FT-86 would be a prime candidate for a hybrid powertrain, but this could imply the car will be a larger coupe that may act as a halo model. Regardless, the vehicle is slated to feature plug-in hybrid technology, a lithium-ion battery and a manual transmission.

Good idea. Having less doors will make it more exciting... oh wait, no it won't. It just makes a boring car less practical.
