2012 BMW 7-Series facelift spied with interior shots
Interior shots reveal new display and control functions
Our intrepid spy photographers have caught up again with the 2012 BMW 7-Series (F01) facelift on bi-continental testing runs in both the U.S. and Germany.
New this time are the interior shots, from both locations, where we notice that the display screen is a little wider than on the current model and there appear to be new control functions on the center console.
On the outside are the same details we've previously seen, including the new 'angel eyes' headlights (with LED indicators), revised taillights and the new bumpers.
News is that the current six-speed automatic transmission will be replaced by BMW's ZF-sourced eight-speed gearbox unit.
The 2012 (F01) BMW 7-Series facelift is expected to debut early next year.

iDrive screen is the same size as the current model. I also don?t see new control functions on the center console??? There is one thing, that is really new, but you didn?t mention: there is a Full-TFT instrument cluster, the only part hidden in the car?s interior!
