Video by BMW German shows more footage of the new 2012 (F20) 1-Series prowling the streets

This German-language video shows more footage of the 2012 BMW 1-Series.

The German-market video highlights what the new 1er has to offer in terms of technology and driving dynamics.

The 2012 (F20) BMW 1-Series goes on sale in Europe in the fall. A U.S.-market launch date has not been announced.

I was trying to decide which animal it reminded me. Pig it is. Other than the front, I can accept the rest of the car, still, I'll never buy it.

I saw one of these on the road in Provence this morning along with a fully camouflaged one (Motorsport version??). My first response wasn't to throw up unlike when I've seen photos - it looked much better in the metal. Still surprises me as those photos are just awful...

The kidneys should be wider, there's too much free space between lights and grill, front is just ugly, and rear is also two steps back...don't know, maybe in person

I've seen one new 1 series on the street today in Augsburg (near Munich). I would say it is as ugly as shown in the photos. I feel lucky that i own a current 1 series.

I think that they have done a very good job on the design and materials on the interior. The exterior is underwhelming. BMW has really gone ho-hum on front end design. They're way behind M-B and Audi. It's seriously time to update the angel eyes and re-invent the double kidney grille. Otherwise it's just the same old day old bread.

I have been looking at this car almost daily for the last couple of months. I don't think I find it ugly anymore. Is having the same effect as the E60 5 series when it first came out on me. I hated the E60 in 2003. Now I have one for my wife. I dont find it to be ugly anymore
