2012 Fiat Panda spied for the first time
Will likely debut in Frankfurt
The 2012 Fiat Panda has already been revealed in patent drawings, but here are the first spy photos of the redesigned model.
Caught undergoing testing in Italy, the prototypes feature a streamlined appearance with a rounded hood, a wider grille and sweptback headlights. They also have a larger air intake, a sloping roofline and a minimalist interior.
Engine options remain a bit of a mystery, but choices are expected to carryover from the 500.
The Panda is slated to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, so stay tuned for official information.

why waste your time spying a docile car like Panda. comes and goes every 5-6 years, no one notices, no one cares. save some internet real estate. delete this post, delete my comment.

Apart from owners and fans of Fiat cars who might be interested? Not everything has to be big red and pointy y'know.

Can you cut it in half, drive it with two front wheels, and then turn it into a limo?

It's a city car: for congested, tiny European cities...

American buyers: be aware that Fiat is seriously looking at selling the Panda in the USA. It's likely that we could see the Panda sold in the USA, probably under the Dodge nameplate and also with more power (probably a 1.7 "Multijet" engine rated at around 120-125 bhp with a modified version of the US Fiat 500's six-speed automatic).
