Here's a video of the upcoming 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster in action climbing switchbacks along with its closed-top sibling, the SLS Gullwing.
The soft-top on this SLS AMG Roadster opens and closes in 11 easy seconds, which we get to see here too.
Power on this machine is supplied by a 6.3-liter (6,208cc) V8 engine with an output of 563 hp (420 kW / 571 PS) and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque. Gearbox is a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which helps take the roadster from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.7 seconds and max-out at a top speed of 197 mph (317 km/h).
The 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster goes on sale in the fall. Pricing details have not yet been made available.
