2012 VW Passat CC facelift spied hot-weather testing
Facelifted Passat CC will feature an updated design more in line with VW's current language
Here are the latest spy shots of the upcoming 2012 Volkswagen Passat CC facelift, caught doing some hot-weather testing in the deserts of the Southwestern United States.
The next Passat CC is slated to receive a facelift bringing its design in line with the fresher elements of the VW lineup. So expect a CC with styling cues more in common with the new Jetta and Passat models.
Even with the heavy camo on the new front and rear ends, we can spot that new four-tiered grill on this prototype here.
The facelifted Passat CC is expected to debut later this year.

Yet another nice looking car... ruined. The current Passat was a ray of hope for VW cars getting some style, getting recognizable. And then they facelifted it and killed the small light at the end of VW design tunnel. Way to go...

A poor man's CLS, I've always liked the CC. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out as i plan to buy one as a present

The facelift that they gave the standard Pasatt ruined the looks of the car and all the others in the VW range they've given it to. Its awful.
The CC is a good looking car, well priced and very well spec'd equipment wise (in GT form).I fear this will go the same way as the range and just look odd. Which is a shame as I was considering buying one as a motorway cruiser next year. Oh well, I'll just have to get a one year old car second hand.
