Audi Q3 RS prototype gets driven [video]
Production model rumored for late 2012
Audi has been relatively quiet about the Q3 RS, but the company recently gave Sweden's Sportbilen an exclusive glimpse at a prototype during the Q3's press launch in Zurich, Switzerland.
The resulting video isn't terribly exciting, but it does confirm previous reports the crossover would feature a turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine - with 300 PS (221 kW / 296 hp) - that is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch S-tronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive.
A production model has been rumored for late 2012, but nothing is official as of yet.

I think mercedes takes the cake in that category as every SUV they design already looks 3 years old by the time it hits the dealers. Its practically like you are buying a used car for a new car price.

Trevor-K. It looks like Audi is in the same boat...except it pertains to the entire lineup.
