2012 Toyota Camry teased [video]

Promises to exceed expectations

Toyota has released the first teaser video for the 2012 Camry.

While there isn't much to see, Toyota president and CEO Akio Toyoda says the model is the "best Camry ever" and will "exceed your expectations." He also promised the Camry will be a "remarkable car in terms of handling, safety and fuel economy."

Additional information is limited, but the redesigned Camry will be available this fall.

Yes it is funny, kudos to this big wig for trying to convey his personal touch but for crying out loud, they could've shown more of the car and not a bloody headlight. This is not an Aventador, nor an Estoque, it should've been done more professionally

yup, it is funny here with all the petrol heads commenting but in reality this car will sell like hotcakes for the people who just needs to go to point A to B and doesn't care about styling this car is the right choice!

I kind of agree with ya bone91... But...quoting your point on styling, I dont think the previous Camry was such a bad looker compared to a few other D Segment vehicles out there... The only problem was the Quality Issue..Runaway Camry.

My guess is that Toyota will carry over the drivetrains from the current Camry for the new model, though I expect some improvements in the engines to improve fuel efficiency (e.g., improved valvetrain timing).

for people who make about $20k - $30k a year, the camry has sex appeal....either this or a honda accord........the american cars in the segment never look as good and burn more gas!. the european cars......well....i dont know much about those :-)

That headlights look kinda huge. Wonder how it's gonna turn out. Current Camry is sharp but other than SE interior, rest models are pretty boring.
