2012 BMW 7-Series facelift caught for a second time
Eyes of an angel
Our spy photographers have caught the 2012 BMW 7-Series (F01) undergoing testing in Germany.
Sporting a modest facelift, the car is distinguished by new bumpers, "angel eye" headlights (with LED indicators) and revised tail lights.
Under the hood, we can expect minor modifications for improved efficiency and added performance. The current six-speed automatic will also be replaced by a new ZF-sourced eight-speed unit.
The updated Bimmer will be unveiled early next year.

The new S-Class isn't even out yet and the BMW is already up for a facelift? Not a good sign...

The front is OK, but the rear Tail Lights looks bad..like the Tail Lights of the Chevrolet Cruze.
Even though I'm a BMW fan, I ahev to agree that the W221 S-Class does look better than the new BMW 7 Series

The W221 S-class has been outselling it's major competitors even at the twilight of existence. The 7 series was not appealing but the facelift looks better.

BMW needs to get rid of their new polypropylene hoods. They are getting warped by the heat from the exhaust manifolds. You need to squint as hard as the new 1 series does, to really notice any facelift. Flunkiedonkey whiffs again.

The front end looks better. The fanboys can stick all of their comments about all Audis looking the same under their mattress. Other than larger nostrils its a dead ringer for a 5er. Back end is awful.

Kinda hard to notice the facelift. I was always curious why they never went in the direction of an M7, since the S-Class AMG does so well?...
