If it looks like it was from the 90s then that's a good thing since all of the best super cars were from the 90s.

i think its a sweet design to start off the company. not too extravagant, but very purposeful. and it performs very well and thas all that counts in the end i think. also, they will hopefully come up with a good and raw design for the next gen F1. but this design is very nice, and simple. i like it

Congrats to McLaren for their official first showroom launch in London! Ron should be proud, as his company would be one of the few English cottage car marques (i.e. Morgan, Noble) that has a panache to make it to the world stage. I hoped they would continue to be successful for many years to come.

This car is so achingly gorgeous in so many diverse ways. Its looks have really grown on me. I love its tech. I love the fact that McLaren has firmly established itself as the British Ferrari. What a car!

I still want to love this car but i cannot. I like it but it doesn't do anything for me.... I LOVE the first Mclaren which was furious and out of this world full of awesomeness!! The looks of the new car doesn't match the performance of it... I just think it just too simple looking of a car to be at this level of performance. Look at the new Pagani now the looks at that make you think more than twice about it cause it just make you want to see more of the car...

Pagani? Now that's ugly to me!! This is an amazing car and McLaren has delivered in every way! Just read yesterday Autoexpress tested it and it did 0-60 in 2.9 seconds to 100 in 6.0 and pulled 1.4 g of force when being launched, pretty incredible for a RWD. Another article showed stats of the 12C lap time around the top gear track at 1:14.1 and it beat the quickest time recorded by an Aerial Atom by 1 second. The version with the light options did it in 1:12.1 and the GT3 did it in 1:09. By the way the Ferrari 458 did in 1:19.1. I would like to know if there will be a GT3 version for the street...
