German tuner Wetterauer Engineering has a package for the MINI Countryman that turns this rather docile all-wheel driver into a more stately off-roader.
The MINI Countryman 4x4 gets a power boost on its 1.6 liter turbo up to 235 PS (173 kW / 232 bhp) and 355 Nm (262 lb-ft) of torque from the series 184 PS (135 kW / 181 bhp) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft). That comes by means of an ECU remap as well as the carbon air box from BMC and a new exhaust system with matte colored ceramic tail pipes.
For the ride are the ATS light alloy Precision rims in 8.5 x 18-inch dimensions wrapped with Bridgestone Potenza tires sized 225/45R18 and new H&R suspension springs for beefier off-road support.
For the cosmetics, the Countryman is done up in matte brown and carbon on the outside, with a 'Cobra'-labelled English-leather upholstery on the carbon sport seats for the interior.
Wetterauer also adds a very conspicuously placed iPad multimedia dock.
