If this news is true, then it would be a good move from Honda, so long the CR-Z hybrid IMA setup is not implemented into it. It would prove to be a worthy successor to the S2000, and provide car buyers a worthy choice alongside the Mazda MX5.

The looks are ok but it's sad that they don't give it a drivetrain that would make it a proper successor to the S2000 ! Does anyone really want a new Del Sol ?

The reason why the S2000 failed, apart from the practicality issue, was the high rrp. I don't see how this is going to be any different. Why buy a Honda when for a little more cash you could probably get into a Z4 or SLK.

I also see the Del Sol in this car, but also see a slug. The problem with the S2000 for me was it just to small and uncomfortable. Not a daily driver as all honda should be.
