2012 Volkswagen Passat CC facelift spied
New Volkswagen Passat CC will be updated to VW's current design language
Our intrepid spy photographers have caught up with this 2012 Volkswagen Passat CC facelift prototype testing somewhere in the European Alps.
The Passat CC facelift will be sporting lots of changes, as evidenced by how much camouflage Volkswagen is using on this prototype.
The facelifted Passat CC is expected to be updated to VW's current design language, with the edgier shoulders and bonnet, as well as new front and rear fascias which will more closely match those of the current Passat generation. The CC's new four-tier center grille can also be seen hiding under that camo.

Let's see what they are going to do to one of the best car designs ever made on earth.

Really beautiful design. Probably the only VW I would consider at this point.

I just hope they don't adopt that same angular and bland aesthetic that's been sweeping the rest of their range. That was one pretty car.

Yes I agree...the current VW Passat CC is one of the most gorgeous cars ever...in fact i think it looks better than CLS and Audi whatever.
Too bad...it's a FWD car, I would have definitely bought it if it was a RWD car.
I hope VW improves the Headlights and the Taillights only and leave the rest as it is...besides making it a Longitudinally mounted RWD car.

NO!! The new styling is god damn awful and I'm a VW fan/owner for several years. The square lights are terrible and the old looking Passat was better before the redesign.

When VW brings the CC with TDI to the USA I'll immediately purchase it! Only with 2.0 TDI with navigation and DSG!
