Dacia Dust No Limit rally car struts its stuff [video]

Features 850 hp (634 kW / 862 PS)

Jean-Philippe Dayraut has released a new video of the Dacia Duster No Limit rally car, ahead of its debut at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on June 26th.

Designed specifically for the Unlimited class, the car features a tubular chassis, a lightweight composite body, and a massive rear wing.

Power comes from a mid-mounted engine that is based on the 3.8-liter V6 used in the Nissan GT-R. Detailed performance specifications haven't been released, but Dacia says the engine develops 850 hp (634 kW / 862 PS) and is connected to a six-speed sequential Sadev transmission.

i'm wondering if this aggresive type of promoting the brand really suits ot's sales. we all know that this competision prototype has nothing to do with the regular, on the sale, model. the only intems that you might see on the street are some plastics and the general exterior design

I think the idea is to make the brand more known between different types of people. Nobody expects to see such a car on the road. Renault races in formula 1 and nobody expects them to built a formula 1 car for the road with a Renault badge in it. The idea is to raise brand awareness.

@kiu... well, I don't think that anything of what tomita said justifies the language you use in your comment... he just exposed his opinion and you should respect it and eventually answer but in a polite manner... well, I think some people simply can't say anything without swearing or using stupid words... and BTW the comments published here must be in English... so read the terms and conditions first if you understand English language...
