Jaguar to offer additional RS variants - report
Will be powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8
It's a good day to be a Jaguar fan as a new report is indicating the XKR-S coupe is the harbinger of things to come.
According to Auto Express, the car's supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine - with 550 PS (405 kW / 542 hp) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque - will eventually be offered in the XF sedan and XK convertible. Besides the performance boost, both models will likely receive an adaptive suspension, an active exhaust and minor styling tweaks.
No word on when the variants will be launched, but expect to learn more information in the coming months.

It is going to be interesting, since the XF already has an R variant. If this is the case, IMO the R would be comparable to Audi's S division and the RS, to the RS of course - in terms of trim levels segmentation.

I'm thinking about seriously buying the XKRS which is suprising since I owned 23 Jaguars from 1994-1998 and hated all of them because they were all problematic and were broken every time you turn around . This shows how much Jaguars cars have improved since I last owned one .
