Honda CR-Z Mugen in action [video]
CR-Z Mugen hybrid features a total output of 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp) and 181 lb-ft (245 Nm) of torque
Here's a video of the Honda CR-Z Mugen which will debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed next month.
The CR-Z Mugen is a joint project by Honda and Euro Mugen to develop a performance-oriented hybrid model.
This one-off prototype features a supercharged 1.5-liter engine and an IMA hybrid system that together develop a total output of around 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp) and 181 lb-ft (245 Nm) of torque. Acceleration from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) comes in at roughly 6.6 seconds.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place between July 1 and July 3 at the Goodwood Park in the UK.

Hmm.... this is very nice but, just wondering if it could top up the batteries quick enough when driven hard ?

This car is pointless. What Mugen should do is ditch the electric motor and batteries altogether to save weight and get a few extra torques from the engine. The point of hybrid is to save fuel but if they'd make it lighter by ditching the electric motors it would prob reach roughly the same consumption figures, and it would be faster and better to drive.
