Infiniti developing Sebastian Vettel edition - report [video]

An attempt to increase brand awareness in Europe

Our friends at Fast Lane Daily have scored an interview with Formula One World Champion and Infiniti Global Brand Ambassador, Sebastian Vettel.

While most of the clip revolves around Vettel, FLD has learned that Infiniti's recent partnership with Red Bull Racing will be more than an adventure in marketing. Details are limited, but the Red Bull team will reportedly provide technical support for an upcoming model. Furthermore, Infiniti is also developing a Sebastian Vettel special edition but there's no word on what car it will be based on.

It reminds me of Tiger Woods. All that cash and glory and he had to stick with a Buick because of some contract. I am suuuure that World Champion really really really loves everything Infiniti makes..

Increasing the brand awareness in Europe, good luck. The only infinity that looks okey is the FX35. Europeans don't want to pay this much money for a car with cheap leather and all plastic interior...

mn07 Have you been inside a G37? The interior is still very cheaply made. It's not a good place to sit in. The engine is nice...but really that's about it...

Yes I have. Almost every day. I own one for 2 years. My "cheap" leather is just like the day i bought it, unlike my friends 335i. He has it for a year and its getting worn. So I strongly disagree with you. Yes its not soft but that does not mean its cheap.
