New Ring Taxi is the E90 M3
Queen of the Ring, Sabine Schmitz, will no longer be the world's most exciting taxi driver
The BMW Ring Taxi is back at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife - sadly, though, without Sabine Schmitz, one of it's faithful driver.
The new Ring Taxi is a standard output E90 M3, replacing the previous E60 M5, and driving duties will fall to instructors from BMW's Driving Experience school, who conduct race-driving classes at the Nürburgring.
So long, Sabine, Queen of the Ring. But as a well established pro driver, surely this isn't the last we hear from her.

what a bunch of gredy capitalists bmw are. yeah sure, make a bmw the Ring taxi. but why the need, necesity of their driving instructors too? (i know some people want to learn to drive fast...on the ring especially) but this sounds like a ..stupid monopoly. bring sabine back

Sabine is great, but can't she take a leave for vacation or other family issue (you mention by yourself)or even preparing for DTM ;). Anyway, there are plenty of good drivers out there. However it's a sad fact with normal M3 as the taxi when GTS is out there.

There are already a long time other drivers next to Sabine Schmitz driving one of the two old Race Taxis. So it was never sure you'd really drive with Sabine!
Compared with the old Taxi, this is not as much as impressive as it was before :( I was expecting the new M5.

I thought she was offering her services around the ring for 750 Euros in a 911 GT3?
