2012 Audi S7 spied undisguised
Debuts later this year
With the Frankfurt Motor Show just around the corner, Audi is wrapping up development on the S7.
Caught near the Nürburgring, the prototype features an aggressive front fascia, aerodynamic side skirts and a four-tailpipe exhaust system. Other goodies will likely include a sport-tuned suspension, a high-performance braking system and faux aluminum mirror casings.
Power is expected to be provided by a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine that will also be shared with the Bentley Continental GT. Performance specifications are unknown at the moment, but the engine should produce at least 435 PS (320 kW / 429 hp).

i don`t think it is really 100& undisguised, front air intakes and rear diffusor could be slightly different on the final version. anyway, gorgeous!

From the rear it's still a 4-door Honda CiviC. Inside is beautiful, but is copied from a BMW interior.

No BMW has just been trying to copy audi interiors for soo long that it seems that way. Audi will never need to copy a bmw interior, because bmw interior's are never that great.

Both BMW and Audi interiors are excellent. What I'm worried about is the monotony that goes into Audi design. It now seems that across Audi's range all saloons look alike and all SUVs look alike. I am beginning to not like Audis anymore.

...umm, PAA, have you looked at any companies line lately? They all try to keep all their lines "in the family" including BMW.

the front is ok a classic audi but the rear is ugly!its like something push the back side of the car down

I like the subtlely fat wheel arches...
The front and the profile looks great...but the rear...it's not really that nice (to put it mildly)
The rear just drags the whole thing down.
But the biggest problem with Audi's in the local market (Korea) is that the types of people that buy them are the types that drive like sh!t and the types that like to plaster S6 or S4 badges on normal cars...with small wheels...just plain ugly.

Another that will look better in real life rather than in a pic. Honda, civic, lol, you are right. No great leaps here I'm afraid.

what the hell is 429 hp in sport sedan??
lexus LS-460 has 380 hp and Audi can only slap 429
in their performance car especially that audi cars are heavy. now adays most lexury sedans have 380 - 400 hp.

Diagree. The A7 with the 3.0T already sprints quite well, so S7 with 100+hp upgrade is appropriate and will perform quite well. HP doesn't tell the whole story. They'll also make room for an RS7. If you have read about the development of the A7 they saved a considerable amount of weight.

undisguised?!?!haha
Does it really matter? Audi's design is all the same since the mid 90's

I think that i will be much more powerful, at least 450 hp. And rear looks too heavy

My god, what a gorgeous machine! Not a big fan of the back end. Maybe a more exciting rear diffuser design would give it some help.

Lazy lazy lazy, these designers really mailed this one in, c'mon. Rear end looks like CLS and Lexus took a dump on the back of it. This is just complete lack of effort and a rush to break into the four door coupe market that Mercedes invented. I expected a little more from Audi, sad spectacle.

It's not a nice looking car, only Audi fans say this car looks gorgeous just because it's an Audi! I saw some A7s and they are boring and even my eyes don't want to keep staring at them more than two seconds.
