2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class scans leaked
Leaked brochure images show an upcoming next-generation M-Class with a panoramic roof and new head- and taillights
The next-generation 2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class is coming and here we have a set of leaked images of the model courtesy of Motor-Talk magazine.
The images here are apparently from a brochure (a good stage in the process for leaks) and the photos provide some details on the new M-Class design.
What stands out here most is the wrap around rear windscreen complimented by the new panoramic roof which will make for a more airy cabin feel.
A redesign of the inside with a more updated look and better materials is also expected which the one image here gives us a hint of.
At the front are new headlights and a smoother nose and at the rear new taillamps and a new bumper.
The 2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class is expected to debut later this year.

Good, MB sticks with current M-class design and proportion, not following X5 and Q7 gigantism (though next gen Q7 can me much slimmer). Anyway there is no point to offer 7 seat for M-class since G-class established for that reason and share pretty much everything except more emposing and boxy look. It also indicates R-class will still be in the line up for next generation with usual great 6 seats (good for Asia market with such MPV usually driven chauffeur and owner's family sit in the back). Interior does look nice but not a big step and feel home to current (or previous) M-class owner. The rearlight also isn't as bad as I expected, but kinda remind the first gen M-class. While front is just a copy of C-class with different size, I used to expect a much fresher and more inspire headlight and a cross between facelifted R-class and next A-class.

don't like the rear lights- they don't connect to anything on the design... otherwise safe but unexciting- a bit too much like the B-class

New car looks more American, than current model. Interior is awesome

Interior is beautiful indeed. I prefer W164s (facelift) more aggressive front.

Safe but unexciting !? What do you want ? An exciting car like the bmw 1-series ?? xD

Not a huge leap forward... but nice. I like it. Now if only BMW would stick with the same formula.

Definitely an evolution on the design front. The rear end could be off a Korean or Japanese SUV. Mercedes seems to be losing its sense of boldness when it comes to design but I guess it seems that it's better to be safe in these times.

not bad, although it reminds me more of the last GL than the last ML.
