Renault Sport teases quicker Megane RS [video]
Video teases a N?rburgring testing Megane RS that is quicker than the standard model
Renault Sport has released this teaser video of a new upcoming Megane RS model testing its track time on the Nürburgring.
We're told we will have to wait until June 17 to find out what it is that Renault Sport has in store here but what we're expecting is a new edition (Nürburgring Edition?) of the Megane RS with a better time on the track than the standard model.
That could mean some weight-shaving for a lighter, performance oriented edition, along the lines of the R26.R, or perhaps more power for the 2.0 liter turbocharged unit...or both of those, of course, something like the N4.
The standard Megane RS comes with an output of 250 PS (184 kW / 247 bhp) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft) of torque.

Why RBR? Renault also supplies Team Lotus and Lotus Renault (basically still Renault F1 Team). I expected this will be Renault Megane Gordini RS, but obviously I was wrong.
