The Golf GTI is game.
German automaker Volkswagen has teamed up with mobile video game developer Fishlabs for this Golf GTI Edition 35 game for the iPhone, iPad and iPod that features 7 different Golf GTI iterations.
The game includes the first Golf GTI model from 1976 all the way through the years to this latest Edition 35 - a special edition that marks the 35th anniversary of the GTI.
The VW Golf GTI Edition 35 comes with a a revised 2.0 liter TFSI with an output of 235 PS (173 kW / 232 hp) instead of the 211 PS (155 kW / 207 bhp) of the standard Golf GTI.
The car is currently available for purchase with prices in Germany starting at €30,425.
