According to a recent report, Audi will unveil an A2 concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
According to AutoExpress, the car is expected to preview a production model that is being developed to battle the 2013 BMW i3. As such, the A2 will be a pure electric vehicle and ride on a lightweight aluminum chassis.
If everything goes according to plan, Audi could launch the A2 as early as 2015.

Apparently Audi has learned nothing from Mercedes failure with the A-Class. This car is going to be a bust!

Price was the key factor, similiar with A1 with decent equipments in ausie will cost as much as A3 because the A3 is on sale. So Audi is going to change A3 sooner with price heavier too and let A1 & A2 make sense to purchase, while BMW and MB are trying to bring price down or at least better value of money. So basically its a price dilemma with Audi can't price A1 and A2 lower but A3 has to be cheaper ot better value than current one, expect only 5grand difference between next A3 and A2, then my choose is taking bank loan for another 5k or buy the demo. A2 has to be at least 10k cheaper than A3 to make me want to buy it, unless the whole car is full of carbon fibre and alumunium, I may fancy to buy it
