Aston Rapide S rumored with 510 hp V12
Rapide S will feature a 6.0 liter V12 dialed up to the 517 PS (380 kW / 510 bhp)
According to British car magazine Autoexpress, Aston Martin has been testing a prototype of a Rapide S model.
The Rapide S will feature an up-tuned version of the 6.0 liter V12 dialed up to the 517 PS (380 kW / 510 bhp) mark, same as on the Aston Martin DBS model. The standard Rapide comes with 470 bhp (350 kW, 477 PS) and 600 Nm (443 ft-lb) of torque.
Autoexpress says its sources have confirmed that the prototype spied testing recently with a larger rear spoiler was a Rapide S.
A Rapide S will also get carbon-ceramic brakes and a tighter suspension tuning.
The expected price is around £200,000 ( €230,851), and the model will likely debut later in the year.

Porsche Panamera Turbo S, Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 and new BMW M5 will be faster. But this car is really exclusive

Maybe the Rapide S has different front lights and area so thats why its covered up to hide the different sheeting that is underneath for the S model.
If it has anything different with the engine,it may need bigger air intakes or more cooling for the engine to get rid of heat easier

With this story i'm convinced that Ulrich Bez should no longer be involved in the styling process of Aston Martin's. If they don't hire a Top talent in the design department they should outsource all their design. These cars are starting to look dated and uninspiring. It's the early 90's all over again.

There is something just really lame about this car. Really expensive and will depreciate like crazy, plus unreliable as all Astons. Panamera for me or CLS63, hell even an audi RS7 if they bring one out.
