Aston Martin V12 Vantage Zagato comes to life [video]

Our good friend Marchettino has filmed the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Zagato at the 2011 Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza and captured the sound of this privileged child of British and Italian heritage.

What you're hearing is the V12 Zagato's 6.0 liter V12 engine producing 510 bhp (380 kW / 517 PS) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque. The car is a creation of Aston Martin (based on the V12 Vantage) and Italian design house Zagato.

Soon, we'll also see the car on the track as it is slated to make a couple of special racing appearances - the first coming this weekend at the four-hour VLN race at Nürburgring on May 28. The car will also race at the Nürburgring 24 hour endurance event on June 25 and 26.

at first i though.....ughhh another 'one off' piece of crap but now im actually looking at it and this car is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! amazing lines, contours, smooth body. this is a work of art. it shud be parked in a museum somewhere where it cant get dirty :-)

WoW! make this a production car please!! i would buy either this or the DBS V12, but wow! what a sound this one has. it looks beautiful in my opinion. reminds me of the old group C race cars. absolutely beautiful.
