Latest spy shots of the upcoming 2012 FT-86 Coupe show a larger rear spoiler and new aero parts

Just a couple of days after we first spied the Toyota FT-86 Coupe testing in Germany, we get another set of shots with Toyota having made some substantial changes to the car already.

We can clearly see a larger spoiler at the rear of this prototype than what we saw last Monday. New aerodynamic parts also seem to be fitted around the bottom of the car.

Even with this heavy camouflage, we still expect the upcoming 2012 Toyota FT-86 Coupe to closely resemble the FT-86 II Concept which was photographed in all its shiny glory just a couple of months ago.

Powering this new rear-wheel drive sport coupe will be a 2.0-liter boxer engine with approximately 200 bhp (149 kW /203 PS) coupled to a six-speed manual transmission - a six-speed automatic will be optional.

The new model will be unveiled later in the year, and be sold as the Scion FR-S in the United States, while an unnamed Subaru sibling will also be produced.

This is one of the few cars that I've actually been really excited about in a long time. I hope that the execution is first rate!

Way better than the version without the aero parts! The wing looks very Supra'ish...

So I have to say that the bodykits does make this car more appealing to me, but loose the spoiler or at least lower it. I looked horrible on the Integra and and the Supra.

Looks like a TRD package. Out of every single car being unveiled this year, this is the one I want to see the most.

Perhaps we could be looking at the upcoming Subaru variant. Imo, the wing (or spoiler) looks to be a trademark Subaru specialty. I could be wrong. Let's wait for the official pictures and comment later.

oh NOW everybody likes this, but the FIRST shots everyone was disappointed, come on people, spy shots aren't ever 100% on the finalized product, maybe this is a TRD package, maybe it's the true car, i don't know, BUT, make up your minds, do u like it or not??

I think it's very ugly... IMO the previous Supra looked much more appealing than this...
