Ferrari P4/5 Competizione racing on the N?rburgring [video]

Ferrari P4/5 Competitizione from the Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus team racing on the infamous track in Germany

Here is some raw but good footage of the Glickenhaus P4/5 Competizione competing in a race at the Nürburgring
on April 2.

The P4/5 Competizione is based on a one-off model commissioned by Glickenhaus back in 2006 from Italian coach-builder Pininfarina. The car features the engine and suspension from the Ferrari F430 GT2 ALMS bolted onto a Ferrari 430 Scuderia chassis. Several Italian tuners have also contributed to its construction.

The video runs more than 13 minutes but if you stick around until the end you get to see smoke billowing from the P4/5 while the mechanics look to see what's wrong.

Guess they didn't win this one.

Yes, it seems the p4/5c doesn't can't keep up on the straights, even though it seems nicely balanced at the cornered parts of the track.

Why is it so slow on straight lines, probably an M3 would pass it!! And there goes the lexus!!!!!! taking with her the poor GT3! Plus at the end it bursted in flames, probably a new fashion for ferraris!! Joking, I love farraris, but not this one. I'd rather have an Enzo FXX..

Not that it's surprising to see porsche out handling the competition, but to see it pulling away from the p4/5 so easily impressed. And what a rookie move on behalf of the LF-A driver. Obviously the porsche driver was positioning himself to take the inside.
